SALT / ALMOND / SAFFRON
Extrait de Parfum
The salty breeze from Adriatic sea envelops Kanat to describe the richness of a civilization that thrives by integrating the rural tradition with the most flourishing commercial activities.
There, in front of the sea, loads of precious fabrics, balms and essences, fruits and flowers, parade on the carts of rich merchants to reach the market square and the stately homes, imbuing the air until the tangled network of ancient tunnels under the city. It is an extremely original fragrance and in some ways recalls elements of childhood, such as the smell of almond or that one of barleywort. A classic accord of cassis is also perceived as a top note. Comfy and peachy at first spray, the fragrance gets minty ron the skin, revealing a darker musky-patchouly profile. Overall sits as a thick - watery one.
Kanat
Kanat is the medieval name of the underground tunnels that run under the entire area of Atri. These Kanat were water-pipelines built by Romans and then no longer used. Throughout the centuries, the tunnels became known as mystical warrens, orgiastic meeting places and safe havens.
Inspiration: the ancient cisterns.
